Glebe, Sydney

I would like to have supplied some photos of Northwich, but I have been hold up in the boat all day with my feet up. The visit to the doctors was a big success and the anti inflammatory tablets are doing their stuff, so in order to speed up the recovery I have stayed on the boat. Frances did the shopping but I did manage to cook the tea.

So in the absence of local photos here is one of the first house that we lived in together in Glebe Sydney in 1971. It was an unusual house in that it was a detached terrace of two up two down construction. We revisited this and some of the other places that we lived when we were in Australia earlier this year.

Is that the house, slightly to the right of centre? It looks like it’s in someone’s garden!

Yes that is the house, the houses to the left were not there in the 70’s. I have no idea why our old house stands on its on.
