Well could we organise a piss up in a brewery? No we couldn’t. We thought that we would walk down and see what time Sovereign Boat Yard opened tomorrow, well they don’t; they are only open on Mondays to Thursdays so we are stuck here until Monday. Its no big deal but as we have now decided to stay at Cropredy we really need to get some diesel in the next day or two, otherwise we will be motoring along the old fashioned way by pulling it along the tow path and we haven’t got a horse.
I will take some photos of Banbury tomorrow and Sunday, weather permitting. It is quite nice being moored close by the shops but it can work out expensive, as I believe that every time we have gone out we have ended up buying something. Today I ordered some prescription reading glasses from vision express, only to find out that Boots are doing a third off for the over sixties. I must draw up a list of places with over sixty offers.
