Woke up early again today, beautiful sunshine and Tadpole Bridge was basking in the early morning glory.

Tadpole Bridge
The weather today was very unsettled and we again had very strong cross winds which made the twisting and narrow turns of the Thames that little bit more interesting. Although there was some rain in the main we had a fair amount of sunshine, much better than yesterday.
We found out that it was Rushey Lock which had been vandalised, the locks on the Thames usually boast good gardens but this one was particularly good and one section had a frog topiary centre piece. This garden will feature on Country Life this coming Sunday on BBC1, not sure about the name of the program but it’s on at 11am.

St John’s Lock had a couple of miniature buildings, a mill and a house.

We are now moored up at Lechlade.

Today we did 10.14 miles and 5 Locks
Statistics so far:-
691.29 Miles, 507 Locks, 47 Swing Bridges, 27 Lift Bridges, 6 Tunnels.
