This morning as I was getting the boat ready for our departure and Frances was getting some last minute provisions, this character shuffles up to me and says ‘ They say that zero to the power of zero is one but I say its undeterminable ‘. There are clearly a lot of people like this wondering up and down the towpath around Oxford but it made a pleasant change to have a mathematical discussion for a change.

We went for a walk along the Thames path and then back into Eynsham, passing Wharf stream on the way.
