Well we are back on the boat; we went over to Croxley yesterday afternoon for a farewell meal with our son Michael. A good time was had by all and judging by the state of my head this morning, I may have had a little too much to drink, ah yes it was finishing with the port that did it.
We were up before 6am this morning so that we could get him to the airport in time, we all had breakfast at Heathrow which wasn’t too bad and he is now on his way to Christchurch arriving there sometime on Friday. He intends to settle there so we will probably go over there sometime next year for a visit.
We will be in Oxford at least until Sunday as we have relatives visiting and then it is on to Lechlade.
